About New Narrative

I've been fascinated by sport and entertainment for as long as I can remember.

At the age of 7, I was already collecting NBA cards. My favourite was Rik "Dunking Dutchman" Smits of the Indiana Pacers.

That early love for the game grew into a career helping athletes and brands build lasting value.

Today I run New Narrative, advising athletes, brands, and rights holders on deals, IP, and brand strategy. Always with one question at the centre: what are we building for the long term?

My background is in law, specialising in IP at the University of Amsterdam. In 2024 I attended the Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports program at Harvard Business School. 

Over the years I've worked alongside elite athletes, clubs like Manchester United, FC Barcelona, and Ajax, and brands like Nike and Adidas.

I've always been inspired by the entrepreneurial mindset in U.S. sport, where athletes think as founders and owners, not just talent. That's the mindset I bring to every client.

New Narrative goes beyond the traditional role of agent, lawyer, or consultant. We build legacies that last.
